Changes in the Educational Level of Residents in the Gaumur Monitoring Area

Information on the educational level of residents in the Gaumur monitoring area is obtained from the Directorate of Health's survey on the health and well-being of the nation. The survey is conducted every five years, with the most recent one taking place in 2022. In previous measurements, the  educational level of residents in the Central Area has been similar to other regions and the country as a whole in terms of secondary education (e.g., high school diploma, vocational training), but has deviated slightly from the national average or other regions in terms of primary education (higher proportion in the Central Area) and higher education (lower proportion in the Central Area). In the latest measurements from 2022, the proportion of those with only primary education appears to have decreased and is now approaching a similar proportion to the national average and other regions. The proportion of residents with higher education has decreased and now deviates more from the national average and other regions than before, while the proportion of residents with secondary education has increased and is now higher than the national average or other regions.
