Recently, there were updates in index 1.3 regarding the gender ratios of employees at Landsvirkjun and PCC BakkiSilicon.

The proportion of women in the workforce at Landsvirkjun increased between the years 2022 and 2023. The number of women has increased by one from the previous year, as well as the number of men working at the power plant, resulting in a current female ratio of 14.3%, which is the highest it has ever been. The male ratio has correspondingly decreased from 88.5% to 85.7%.

At PCC BakkiSilicon, women made up 18% of the workforce in 2019, which was the company's first full year of operation. In 2023, women account for only 9.6% of the workforce.
